Career In The Indian Army After 12th

Recruitment/Career In The Indian Army For Other Ranks 

Any male citizen regardless of caste, class, creed and place of residence can be recruited into the army. He meets the prescribed age, education, physical and medical requirements.

Candidates are advised to visit the nearest Branch Recruitment Office (BRO) in HQ Recruitment Zones. There they can check the dates of recruitment events. Information about recruitment events is also published in all local newspapers. 

On the day of the rally, you must carry an attested copy of your educational certificate and six copies of recent passport-size photographs along with the originals of all certificates. 

Children of soldiers, ex-servicemen and war widows can also register directly at the nearest training centre on the day of inspection along with the required documents in original. However, they are only checked if they meet the set recruitment requirements.
