Courses in NDA– The National Defence Academy (NDA) provides an undergraduate residential program of three years duration resulting in a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) for all Cadets of the Army, Air Force, and Navy. The students from the Army can select the Humanities and Social Sciences stream for their BA or the BSc for Science subjects. The students from the Air Force and Navy are granted a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in their fourth year.

Undergraduate Degree Streams:

The cadets have already acquired the basic military skills during three years and then proceed to their respective service academies for advanced training. 

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA): Political Science, History, Economics, Geography, and Languages. These are among the subjects of this humanities stream. 
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc): Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science are included in this science stream. 
  • Bachelor of Technology (BTech): Those Air Force and Naval cadets who need a strong technical background finish their fourth year at the NDA with a BTech degree.
